Positive points in the Kali age

The current post is about the positive aspects of the Kali Age

Quote source: Vishnu Puran

Maharshi Veda Vyasa mentions the best aspects of the Kali age — The Vishnu Purana: Book VI: Chapter II (sacred-texts.com). In that link, it is mentioned that “In the Kali age people gets the most exalted virtue by very little exertion (i.e., reciting the name of Keśava)”. But even that little exertion seems tough because of the following reason “There is great trouble in wealth/position acquisition; great care in their preservation; great distress from the want of them; and great grief for their loss.” as said by Maharshi Veda Vyasa.

Quote source: Amrit Baani

“In the Satyug, there was truth, in Treta sacrifice, and in the Dwapar age the performance of worship. In the three ages these three observations were established, but in Kalyug the name of God is the only support.”

Quote source: Sri Guru Granth Sahib

The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is the only permanent wealth; all other wealth comes and goes.

Thieves cannot steal this wealth, nor can robbers take it away.

This wealth of the Lord is embedded in the soul, and with the soul, it shall depart.

It is obtained from the Perfect Guru; the self-willed manmukhs do not receive it.

Blessed are the traders, O Nanak, who have come to earn the wealth of the Naam. ||2||

ISKCON’s Mahā-mantra

ISKCON recommends to chant 16 rounds of 108 chants of Hare Krishna mantra daily

“Hare Krishna Hare Krishna,
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare,
Hare Rama Hare Rama,
Rama Rama Hare Hare”

— ISKCON (WWW.ISKCON.ORG)

This I have tried for few months. It does help reduce addiction, reduce worries, reduce repeated unwanted thoughts and improves overall concentration which in turn improves our efficiency in work.

Quote source: Bhajans

Same is sung in this song clip.

Few other version of this Bhajan…

Today there are so many such solacing videos to hear. But the content moderators of video social media suffered mental trauma during those initial days due to lack of today’s AI tools to filter out traumatic contents. They had to manually check every video and you can check posts about their experiences searching in google.

Quote source: Mankuthimmana Kagga & Rabindranath Tagore’s Gitanjali

”If you are happy at any time in life remember at least 100 people are struggling to keep you happy with or without your knowledge. We should therefore, realise that we are indebted for society, have gratitude for the same and carry on with your work to help others as part of your efforts in turn. You are only then in God’s team as God is with those 100 people and helping them in field wearing soiled clothes”.
